Requirements and access
The browser edition says it works in a current desktop or mobile browser with JavaScript and Web Audio support. A microphone is needed for a scored take; headphones are helpful but optional. The site says no account is required, although local preferences and score history may use browser storage.
Local audio claim
According to the browser site's FAQ, microphone audio is held in memory for local replay and scoring, is not uploaded or attached to an account, and is released when the session ends or the page closes. This is the browser site's own claim, not a statement about the official Steam game.
Settings and accessibility
The site lists captions, countdown sounds, reduced motion, party volume, feedback volume, a tutorial replay, and an option to save a Survival run. It says microphone permission is requested only when play begins.
Leaderboard and name
The browser edition lists a daily Survival board that resets at 8:00 AM US Eastern. It presents a player name as optional and says a skipped name appears as a masked IP on that board. Check its live privacy page before sharing personal information.
